Your picture above looks very pixelated-- quite like an Impressionist painting. :)
I loved this post, btw. I'm so in awe of Jesus and His constant friendship-- We are NEVER alone when we have Him!
why do we hold ourselves back from his love and grace? why do we desire what isn't real and settle for even less? He truly loves us and wants us to be saticfied in him. We is it that we would dwell with in our own self pitty and not fall into his dwelling place? Lord I come, with a brokeness only you can fix and a heart that only you can mend.. Love hear me, arms hold me, your voice oh lord, speak...the sounds of forgiveness and tender mercy in my ears. May they be open and my mind willing to hear your words that give the life back into who you have called me to be. Lord I come, running, and I come with my arms open wide.
Amen to that ! We have to work hard as followers of Jesus to go against our own "old man" desires. Ephesians 4:22-24 talks about putting off our natural responses and ways of thinking (the way we were before knowing and loving Jesus) and being renewed through forgiveness, and then putting ON Christ-like thinking and behavior. God IS good!
